BlackSoil Capital Private Limited

In August 2016, BlackSoil acquired a non-deposit taking NBFC, BlackSoil Capital and established a credit platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and high-growth firms. In FY17, BlackSoil Capital deployed ₹100+ Crs in seven transactions. By FY19, its AUM had grown beyond ₹500 Crs, making it a systematically important NBFC (NBFC-ND-SI), with a net worth of over ₹200 Crs.

Till December 2023, the NBFC has disbursed ₹5,050+ Crs across 205+ transactions with credit disbursals of ₹4,500+ Crs . The AUM stands at ₹1,250+ Crs and the net worth is ₹315+ Crs.

BlackSoil India Credit Fund

(AIF)

BlackSoil launched its alternative investment fund amid the pandemic in Nov 2020, leveraging its NBFC credit platform. Its first investment was made in Dec 2020. The fund concluded its final close in Oct 2022, raising over ₹280 Crs, including a significant institutional investment. The success of the fund adds credibility to BlackSoil’s growing alternative credit platform, marking the entrance of institutional investors.
 
BlackSoil Fund is a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund, focusing on debt investments in high-growth innovative companies supported by marquee institutional investors or established Indian founders, through Venture debt and Structured debt. The fund has deployed over ₹480 Crs across 40 investments and has successfully exited 10+ investments.

Supply Chain Fintech

BlackSoil established SaralSCF, a subsidiary company to develop a supply chain fintech platform, which was launched in Jan 2021. The platform provides supply chain finance to meet the working capital needs of vendors and customers of growth companies and brand distributors.
